Constructed in 2011, the Douro Spirit is one of the leading river cruise ships on the Douro. The Douro valley, with its vineyards that reach the river’s edge and the small picturesque cities and villages along the river, still counts as one of the hidden treasures among the European holiday regions. The most famous landmark and one of the region’s highlights is Porto, the second biggest city in Portugal.
The four-deck ship is 78 metres long and 11 meters wide. The ship is made for a maximum of 130 passengers. Relax on the Sun Deck at the well-tempered pool or enjoy the fascinating panorama passing by while having a drink at the bar & lounge. Furthermore, the ship offers a restaurant, library, gym, massage, board shop, air conditioning, laundry and video-on demand, free W-LAN.
The restaurant offers the guests international and local delicacies. The 64 outside cabins contain single beds that can be put together, flat screen tv, shower, WC, hairdryer, phone, air conditioning. Cabins on the upper deck have a French balcony.
